Shipping policy
Order Processing Times
All orders are processed within 1–2 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays) after payment has been received and all required documentation has been verified.
You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been accepted and is ready to ship.
Shipping of Non-Display (Road-Legal) Plates
In accordance with DVLA regulations and the British Number Plate Suppliers Regulations (2003), we are legally required to verify your identity and entitlement to the vehicle registration number before producing or shipping any road-legal or non-display number plate.
Before dispatch, you must provide:
1. Proof of Identity (one of the following):

Valid UK driving licence
-
Passport
-
Utility bill dated within the last six months
-
Bank or building society statement
2. Proof of Entitlement (one of the following):
-
Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C)
-
Certificate of Entitlement (V750)
-
Retention Document (V778)
-
Lease or hire agreement showing registration number
Orders for non-display plates will not be shipped until valid proof of both identity and entitlement has been received and verified.
If you fail to provide acceptable proof within 14 days of purchase, your order will be cancelled without refund in accordance with our exchange-only policy.
Shipping of Show / Display Plates
Show plates or plates marked “for display/off-road use only” do not require proof of entitlement. These orders will usually be processed and dispatched within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Delivery Times and Carriers
We use Royal Mail Tracked delivery for all shipments.
Estimated delivery times (after dispatch) are:

UK Mainland: 1–3 business days

Channel Islands / Northern Ireland: 3–5 business days

EU and International Orders: 5–10 business days (customs delays possible)
Shipping Confirmation and Tracking
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email containing your tracking number and carrier details.
Tracking information will usually become active within 24 hours.
Damaged, Lost or Delayed Deliveries
If your parcel arrives damaged, or does not arrive within the estimated timeframe, please contact us at signatureplates@hotmail.com.
We will open an investigation with the courier and arrange an exchange if appropriate, in line with our Exchange Policy.

Please ensure your delivery address is complete and accurate when placing your order.
